Hey there, hope you get back to feeling better real soon! This is just a suggestion... if you have what I have....I get a bad flare up of Irritable Bowel Syndrome 2-3 days before my period.

I've noticed that if I have certain foods like salad, anything spicy or greasy, alocohol or caffeine, before my period, my cramps get 10 times worse! It seems many of us with endo also have IBS. By bowels will start spazming, along with my uterus and my lower back kills me.

Before my period I try to stick to just eating very mild, easily digestable food and avoid alcohol and caffeine! By the way, Midol has caffeine in it, so that's no good.

I eat a lot of yogurt, cereal, cottage cheese. I guess a lot of breakfast foods before and during my period. lol I also just got on a pill my aunt suggested called Bentyl. It's an anti-spazmotic drug for IBS. I would say it does work some, but you still have to watch what you eat. I just take it right before my period starts. Everyone's different though. You could kind of test yourself out to what foods you can tolerate and which ones to avoid. My aunt can't eat avocado, corn, tomatoes, grapes...a bunch of things, while I can eat those just fine.

Best of luck to you, hope you feel well soon!
