Hi Dawnriser I know that Endo doesn't come up on an ultra sound, thats why they do the Lap to see if it's there and then remove it, the only reason that they do the ultra sound is to see if theres an obstruction, ie cyst. because if they don't do an ultra sound and just jump straight in to surgery theres a huge chance that if there is cyst that they might hit it and it will burst, which is not good. So doing an ultra sound before any impending / proposed surgery is the only sure way that the doctors know that they are not going to cut anything that they shouldn't. With regards to the white mass that you saw, I would just take a deep breath and just wait for the report off the doctor, as there is no point in stressing yourself out when you may not need to, beside's endo pain gets worse with stress. So Until you have a definate answer for what you saw, I wouldn't even think about it, (I know easier said than done, but you will probably make yourself ill just worrying) I myself has been both unlucky and lucky with endo, for a year I was put on a continuous drug called Deprovera, and then after that I was given an implant in my arm, which last 3 years, and since that day I have never been better, the implant is called implanon, and it's just amazing. I'm aiming to go drug free by the end of the year and try for a family, but I wouldn't have been able to do it without the implant. good luck with the doctor and I hope that everything turns out alright and I hope that my message helped in some way
