Hi all-

Well, I had a complete hysterectomy a few months ago. I kept my right ovary because I did not want to go into menopause at 35. This was my 3rd surgery. I have stage IV endometriosis, bowel endo and after my uterus was removed the pathology showed I had adenomyosis. I also had a bowel recevtion during the hysterectomy. I had the surgery in April. I have started having some pains.. My lower right pelvic/abdominal area and also the back. It is the right ovary that I kept. My question is, since I kept the right ovary, can that ovary still cause pain and act as it would for periods? Since I no longer get my period because of the hysterectomy, I would think the ovary could still cause some problems? Any info anyone had would be great. Also, it has only been 3 months since surgery, could these symptoms and pains be a part of the recovery process still? I also feel some tearing like sensations and FEAR the surgery caused even MORE adhesions. I had frozen pelvis before, my adhesions were very severe.

I am so discouraged...Why am I still having pain? Also, since the hysterectomy, I tire so easily...I am tired alot. Anyone else experience that with a hysterectomy? I had a big surgery, it was 8 hours long...I had a bowel resection and the hysterectomy...maybe this is all just a part of it... I also developed pneumonia post surgically and had to recover from that on top of it all..

Please help...

Very discouraged today
