Hello Kristen, i know you have received many replies and i just wanted to give you my personal experience w/lupron. I decided to give Lupron a try w/faith that it was gng to help and not make me feel worse. I got my first shot on 6/26/07 and i also began the add back therapy. Everything was gng good, the pain did increase a lil, and also got some break through bleeding but i did know it was normal. Then out of nowhere, Friday 7/6/07 i began w/this REALLY painful joint pain in both arms. I didnt realized what it was until, i remembered that joint pain was a side effect my doctor had mentioned. It was really bad, to best describe the pain it felt like a burning/pain sensation deep in my bone on both of my arms from wrist to shoulder! I felt like i was gng crazy w/the pain! I took some pain medication and it helped a lil. Ever since that day i decided not to go for a second shot. Now, i cant wash my hands w/cold water or get cold AC air hit my arms because the pain/burning kicks in. I didnt think the joint pain was gng to be the way i felt it. I also got a really bad sunburn, which i just found out that Lupron could of been another reason for the sever sunburn i got besides the add back therapy. Lupron works different for everyone and it has helped others w/their pain. So, only you can make a decision, i just wanted to give you my story. Take Care, Steph :)
