My first time on this site. . .I am having problems making decision for having a total hysterectomy due to history of endo and cyst problems. I have been scoped for endo twice, have had one ovary removed and the remaining ovary is constantly getting huge hemmo. cysts. I have one large one now, fluid behind the ovary and my third appointment with my gyno on Tuesday to make my decision. He says that he can do another scope - but it would only delay the inevitable. He won't pressure me for a hysterectomy, but I know at my age - 35- I would heal better and quicker rather than postponing it. However, it is major surgery and I am in a decision dilemma.
