Hi, wow! You are really on top of things too! The more questions we answer for women on here and information we provide each other, the better off we all will be! The doctors sure as hell don't seem to be helping much. Your article at the bottom (link) wouldn't work. I'm interested in looking at that.

I wonder how many women out there are on the pill purely for birth control reasons and how many are on it to "help" their periods? Can you imagine if all the women quit taking it for periods, how much money the pharmaceutical companies would lose? Not to mention all the other synthetic crap and anti-depressants? BILLIONS of dollars! I calculated that I spent $6000 dollars on just BC pills alone - thats 4,300 pills that I took that I did not need. I also took Bextra, Celebrex, Vioxx, Tramadol, Paxil, Effexor, probably 15 other things too.....all for nothing, and many now are off the market because they were deemed unsafe by the FDA.

How many people have to get sick or die before they take a drug off the market? I can't believe Lupron has been approved by the FDA. All those years, and all I needed was a little more progesterone in my body. I hope and pray that all the pills I took will not cause me major health problems in the future. That is what I am trying to prevent from happening to the women on this forum. If a doctor makes you feel like a customer instead of a patient and keeps just pushing all these medicines on you, you need to find someone else - fast! I wish I would've questioned doctors more when I was younger, but I trusted that everything they were prescribing me would somehow help me, but it didn't.

Thanks so much for reading my post.

Take care! Andrea :)
