Becky, Hey, I had an endometrial ablation May 2006 with my Lap. It did work well in the since that my heavy HEAVY bleeding is no longer present and some of the cramps during my period have subsided. I had no bleeding for six months and now have a very light period for a few days. However, if pain is your problem it does not help. Like I mentioned earlier it might have helped with some of the cramps associated with passing (sorry tmi) the big clots etc but I still have pain ALOT.Primarily lower back pain that is constant!!!!I have endo, adeno and pelvic congestion. I am now scheduled to remove the uterus due to the adeno and pelvic congestion in early Sept. Do I reget the ablation? No. It did provide relief with the heavy bleeding which led to anemia. Also, I now feel like I have tried all things before removing my uterus. Questions to ask yourself is what is your primary problem and what is the source of your problem? If you have any specific questions feel free to ask me. Good luck with your decision making. Ada
