Hi there,

I just got back from Colorado on Thursday, visiting family over the 4th. Good thing, cuz I got my period on Saturday, a week early and I've been in bed with a heating pad the last 2 days. Been laying here typing to everyone too. :)

I'm so sorry that your doctor pushed you into taking Lupron. Your husband and family should be more supportive of YOU, not him, when you are the one suffering the consequences of what he has given you! Why do they have such a high opinion of him, when you have been feeling so horrible? You should not feel as if you need to sneak around to find real help. That is just more stress than what you are already dealing with. My gosh, I can't imagine.

I found an article on the 7th (I put the link on here) about how TAP pharmaceuticals (the company that makes Lupron) was sued years ago for bribing doctors to prescribe it and over-charge for it! They had to pay criminal fines to the government and losses to the insurance companies ($290 million), but it said nothing about the patients being reimbursed or being hurt by being given a drug that they really didn't need. I have realized the last few years that there is a lot of dishonesty and greed when it comes to doctors and drug companies. You have to find someone who REALLY CARES.

I also felt that I was bullied or intimidated into taking some drugs over the years and I won't be treated like that anymore. Your health is all you have and you have to stand up for it! I also wrote on the 7th about having too much estrogen in my body. Please take a look....see if you have had too. Other women are starting to respond to this now, and they all have had the same awful symptoms I did and are asking about getting their hormone levels checked. Let me know if you would like me to help you in any way find a different doctor. You DESERVE help!
