Re: bleeding after lapFrom: mdustin (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Jul 3 13:43:31 2007
Your welcome. Yes, time will tell and I hope everything goes smoothly for you. With my lap...well, it didn't turn out so well. I had my pain come right back and my doctor prescribed Lupron for me for three months. Long story short...the Lupron didn't help me either. I just finished my last injection and am now in a waiting period of three months before my next appointment with my doctor. So, not only did my Endo symptoms come back, but also side effects from Lupron as well. I have written many posts about all of this, so I won't go crazy into details. Just not fun, ya know? Very frusterating. However, there may be a silver lining here. Laps do help some women, actually many women. It really depends on what they find during the surgery and how much Endo/Adhesions/etc. are found. Is your doctor a normal gyn? Or are they specialized in Endo? Many women that have not found relief from the lap is probably due to the fact that their surgeon/doctor is not a specialist. I'm looking into finding a specialist myself. I didn't know there was so much involved in all of this untill I was stuck in the middle of it all. The sad part about this is that there is no cure for Endo. It can be delayed or lessened, but it can still come back..for some it's days/weeks/months/years. I really hope that the surgery can help you. Please ask any questions and let us all know how you do. ~Mags
