Hi Cristi Marie
I know what your going through and do understand your frustration.
I was Diagnosed in 2001 when I was 21, but before that I had the pains
for 6 years and had pre cancerous cells the lot luckily the pre
cancerous cells went away by themselves.
I also gained alot of weight after the lap, and the pains got worse and
worse.
I really don't want to sound like I'm leactureing here though but for
any pain and birth control meds to work properly, you will have to get
your weight back down, I have started to loose more weight and do more
exercise and the pain has really reduced.
the Problem is that excess fat cells in the body create oestrogen, which
is what the endo feeds off, so the less fat cells there are the endo
will start to go hungry and move to find the oestrogen which is back in
uterus where it should be.
I learnt this the hard way too, but there are meds that can help, once I
had BMI back down I was able to use an implant called implanon, it goes
into your arm and it last for 3 yrs, it will work with someone who is
just over the BMI mark like I was but it's less effective, and the more
weight I lost the better it worked, I haven't had any pains and no
period for 3 yrs, you will get a bit of spotting now and again and a
little bit of cramping, but nothing like the pain you would normally
get, and once the 3 years are up you could either take it out to have
kid (as your body will be fertile in 3-5 days) or you could put another
one back in.
I hope that this has helped you
good luck
