Hi April -

Sounds like your doctors didn't remove all of the endo at your lap. Unfortunately this happens all too often! Here's a post that explains some of how that can happen: http://forums.obgyn.net/endo/ENDO.0706/0813.html

You're not crazy! But you do need a new doctor, and seeing an endo excision specialist is my best advice. Endo is a very poorly understood disease, even among most obgyns - I think it's one of the most difficult things to come to terms with concerning this disease, aside from what it does to us personally. We're taught to trust doctors, but a lot of doctors are just clueless about endo!

There are some links at the bottom of this that you may find helpful - I highly recommend the ERC yahoo groups, both endodocs and the support group. I learned a lot in both of them. Also the pain link is good because so many of us suffer so needlessly.

Here's a "letter from endo survivors" one woman wrote to help explain to others in her life the toll this disease takes: http://www.hcgresources.com/SurvivorLetter.html

I hope this helps!
