Hi Anon

I am sorry you are going through all that and feel so alone, even though you had a lap 3 months ago, and it has 'returned', it doesn't mean they got it all to begin with. B/c endo comes in so many colors, even clear, hides deeply in so many places, and is so sneaky in where it does hide, it is easy to miss some, and some is enough to keep the pain going. Perhaps if they really think they had gotten it all, you had more hiding that they couldn't see and missed, and that is keeping your pain going.

I think the longest I have lasted with a surgery is 3 months, and I don't think even in that 3 months I felt all that much relief, but mine is very deep and on, under all over...my bowels, intestines, bladder... I have stageIV+ now Inoperable endo with severe and calcified adhesion's to my bowel and intestines. Several places are being strangled from the adhesion's and food and waste passing by is almost impossible if I didn't use a nightly purgative to help. So finding and removing all of it I am told is too dangerous and impossible.

I also have a very touchy system, I do not tolerate meds well, especially hormones, not even the BCP. I did have one shot of Lupron years ago and never took another, I knew right away it wasn't for me, as did my Dr, who thank goodness listened, too may don't/wont!

I agree with you 100% that if you have a sensitive system too and you know your body as well as you seem to, you already know it is asking for trouble, some never do recover from the effects of it, and you know already your chances would be high in reacting badly, so why chance it. It doesn't seem like such a good trade off to me for a possible few months, maybe more... of relief, if you suspect it wont do well in your system.

I agree with trying absolutely everything else first them before considering that, I have found the best results I have had came not from a surgery, but from supplements, diet and focused healing techniques using meditation and like approaches. I have a special 'diet' and take mega EFA's (essential fatty acids), complex high potency B vitamins, mega C in powder form, magnesium, and a couple others. These combined with different meditation techniques and a pain med is about all I find helpful for my pain.

If you are looking for a list or ideas on other things holistically and alternative you can try such as supplements and such, feel free to write me off forum and I can send you a list of what I take, and what others suggest and use.

I understand you feel hung out to dry, I am sorry you are not finding the answers you need. Perhaps alternative approaches may offer you at least some relief.

I wish you all the best in your journey, please feel free to write if you want more info.
