Hello there, thought I may be able to help. I used to have a lot of unbearable symptoms with my endo, now I just get SEVERE pain 2-3 days a month. But, I found that taking bioidentical progesterone helped tremendously with other things like mood swings, fatigue, depression, yeast infections, hot flashes......and this form of treatment is covered by heath insurance, you will only pay for it what your co-pay is. I have had NO side effects from it. It is made from yams and soybeans and you have to get it at a compounding pharmacy, from a pharmacist who specializes in making hormone compounds. This is not something you buy over the counter. You need a scrip for it and you have to have your progesterone level tested, so they know exactly what amount to give you. The problem is, most conventional docs don't believe in it, or think that it works, but I swear on my life, it has been a miracle drug for me. I used to get yeast infections EVERY month! Bought tons of Monistat, took Diflucan, nothing worked! Come to find out, women who are progesterone deficient, have chronic yeast infections. I also take a good pro-biotic once in a while too. I wrote a whole page about my experiences with progesterone on June 4th, it says THIS COULD HELP EVERYONE. Check it out, and if you have any questions, let me know. Hope this can help.
