ART, thanks for that website link. It was very informative! I feel lost
knowing that I most likely have adenomyosis now too in addition to my
endo. However, I would be hesitant to go to that doctor if he is the
only one in the world doing that procedure. It sounds like he would
have to cut into your uterus, take the adenomyosis out, then reconstruct
your uterus. Don't get me wrong, I would totally do it if it was
something my doctor could do and at least I know my doc takes my Blue
Cross insurance. Plus staying in California for 3 weeks.....I can't
even afford what I'm having here in TX. :( I still think I would rather
get a hysterectomy (just uterus) than take Lupron.
I don't even think I would be sad about not having kids! I would look at
it as getting rid of this THING that has caused me pain and misery most
my life! Too bad uteruses aren't removable - like we could just stick it
in there when we need it and we want a baby, then take the damn thing
out so we don't have to bleed and have friggin cramps every month!
Wouldn't that be great......Anyway, thank you so much for your support.
I have until August to think about all this, my doc goes on vacation
most of July.
