Hi there. Don't let your doctor get you down! I just hope you see that you have more options than what your doctor is giving you. So many doctors made me feel that way.....like they and their recommendations were ALL I HAD. What he is saying to you is not encouraging at all. What if your pain is being caused by kidney stones and not endo pain? Did your doc say that could be a possibility? I have had relatives with kidney stones and their pain was very similar to what you're describing yours is. I know it is sooo draining and exhausting to find a new doctor and feels like you're starting at square one again. Trust me, I have done it a lot! From what you're writing, though, I can tell that you KNOW in your gut that this doc and his treatments are not right for you. Listen to your heart and your gut, because they are always right. I'm sure you really felt like you could rely on this doc too, because he is a relative, but there is someone better for you out there who will put you on a real road to recovery and feeling well again. Don't give up! Hope you got my last couple msgs. They just said about how progesterone is a scrip that is covered by insurance, so you would only pay $10 for it, if that's what your co-pay is. My aunt had some nasty side effects from PremPro, similar to Premarin, so if it makes you feel funky too, don't take it. I'm going to start leaving my e-mail on here, so please feel free to write me anytime. I'm seeing my doc next Tuesday for some refills and could ask him if he knows of a good doc where you're living if you want. Let me know. I'm sure I will be on here a lot more as the date of my lap surgery approaches. I'm scared. Take care and keep your head up.
