Re: pain in lower back/tailbone areaFrom: andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Jun 15 01:04:29 2007
Do you get Irritable Bowel Syndrome right before your period? Feel like you have to go real bad, but can't? I do, and it used to feel like my guts were going to fall out and like I was in labor. I would get a fever and sweat. Do you get that? I just started taking Bentyl, an anti-spazmotic a few days before my period and that intense pain and swelling in my lower abdomen and back subsided a lot! I wrote a whole thing on what I take to help my period on a June 4th entry, if you want to check it out. I've discovered some things in the last few years that have really helped with my pain. Take care, Andrea :)
