hi everyone! i am looking for advice/some optimism because as I get ready for my 1st lap and research around in books/on web I keep seeing/hearing that a lap is a good way to increase fertility chances. I'm not sure whether fertility will be a problem for me or not...and my husband and I are not ready to have kids yet (i'm 21, he's 23).If we wait 5-10 years is it very likely that I will need at least another lap before I can conceive?

Although we're not going to try soon after this lap--- won't it still do some good as far as restoring anatomy etc? (I already know that my uterus has been greatly moved-likely as a result of endo behind it/on the uterosacral ligaments).

I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance that getting this lap done will improve my chances as far as not having fertility problems in the future.

Note: MAJOR reason for this surgery is pain reduction--- the continuous bcp's have worn off in their effectiveness and now i have pain almost every day.

please take care- you are all in my thoughts+prayers
