Hi Angie,

I keep a spread sheet on my laptop of my pain. I track when my period starts, any unusual bleeding (is it heavier, clots more than usual etc). I also note what days I have pain and how severe as well as what I took to relieve my pain and how much it helped (on my worst days, the pain meds are barely useful). Oh and I include where pain was, if other symptoms are present such as nausea and insomnia. You can be as detailed as you like. I just feel that the more info I have, the more the doc can determine my status. I think keeping a journal helps me see patterns or if something is getting worse, more recently to see if surgery has helped.
