Re: Any one keeping a pain journal, please help??From: D (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Jun 11 13:02:55 2007
I think as much information as you want to write down is fine! And it seems to me it would be better to record too much, than too little - if you end up not wanting to show it all to the doctor, you could always write up a summary for them. I've also kept track of my average daily pain and made a graph after a few months - that was really helpful because it showed the pain was still following a monthly cycle, in spite of taking continuous birth control pills. For a while, I was keeping track of my temperature, but as I pretty much run a low grade fever for at least part of every day and have for months, I stopped recording it! (that made me want to check it, and sure enough I'm running 99.6...) Here's an online pain journal in case anyone is interested: http://www.reliefinsite.com/ I haven't tried it, but the Endo Research Center recommends it... http://www.endocenter.org/ I hope this helps!
