Please try not to feel ashamed about asking for/needing pain meds. He should not have treated you that way, but sadly, most doctors do react that way to us endo patients. They are so afraid of narcotics and it really doesn't make sense to me. We are not asking for DRUGS! We are asking for PAIN-RELIEF! What is so hard to understand about that?? First of all, it may take you a while to get pregnant, I hope not, but with me it was 3 years 3 months. You cannot live in pain for that long while trying to conceive, and obviously you can't take bc pills and conceive, so what sort of miracle does he expect you to perform? I'm glad he gave you something for pain today, though. Good luck to you and your husband.
