Dr. Daiter I really need help. I'm so upset right now. I was diagnosed by a lap in Feb 07 w/ Stage 1 endo. I feel like I'm constantly going to start my period... crampy & bloated. My doc originally thought it was scar tissue she was going to be removing instead she found endo and did not remove anything. She talked me into Lupron which seemed to be lessening things after the initial pain but the 2nd shot made me ache all over and then right after the 3rd I ended up w/ an unexplained Angina attack. They can not find anything wrong with my heart but there was definitely something going on as I had several abnormal EKGs. They wonder if the Lupron was the cause but of course nobody will say "yes it was". So since I'm still having constant cramping pain anyway I will definitely NOT be taking another shot. I forgot to mention that sex is very uncomfortable and I have bad cramping for 3 days afterwards. So I talked to my doc again on Wed and she told me that I have to take DepoProvera shots now or there is nothing else she can do for me. I'm really not wanting to take the shots. I questioned her on them to begin with because my PCP had told me after my daughter was born that I could not take the shots because I had a DVT(blood clot in my leg) following my c-section. Now this doc tells me that I can have the shots and don't have to worry about it.I would love to go to a specialist and had contacted the doc in Milwakee but just can not afford it right now because of other major expenses. My PCP is on vacation for 2 weeks so I can't talk to her about what to do right now either. Can you help me?
