Hi,

I have been diagnosed with Adenomyosis.I am currently taking pain medication for relief from pain .I am also taking Xamic for the reduction of internal bleeding from "pockets".This had worked for the past couple of months. Now the bleeding has become really intense with heavy clots! The size of scoop of cake batter!

I have been advised Danzol to keep the condition under control along with pain medication.I have read about the horrible side effects of Danzol! I do not wish to worsen my suffering.Has anyone had success with this?

I have been advised against hyst as I am under 30 yrs,too young for it...

The best option for me is to keep the condition under control and wait till menopause as "adenomyosis regresses spontaneously" after menopause.

I have read about laser surgery .They remove the Adenomyosis using laser technology (CO2 Yag and Argon) which preserves the endometrial cavity but treats the remaining deep uterine muscle disease.

I want to opt for something with minimal sideeffects, as i have struggled with hormone sideeffects in the past like weight gain, depression and lot of hair loss!

This laser surgery seems to be the only long term permenant treatment.Does anyone know about this? Has anyone tried it ? Need info if anyone has it ...

Thanks a lot .
