Seeing your PCP was a good idea, to evaluate you for problems that might have caused those feelings.

It sounds a lot like a vaso-vagal reaction... a part of your nervous system called the autonomic nervous system functions to control your organ systems (heart, lungs, GI system) and when you get suddenly scared by something (like if you almost get hit by a car or if you think you are in danger like when hiking and you see a snake, etc) you can get flushed and clammy and cold, then hot and sweaty and shaky, etc. It may be part of a "fight of flight" reaction. By the time you do any testing everything comes back normal.

Don't know if that fits what was going on at the time. The fear of endometriosis pain coming on when out in the wilderness can might also do it?

Good luck
