I am surviving somehow on pain killers .The other medication that was earlier prescribed to me to reduce the internal bleeding in the "pockets" on the uterus lining , have now become useless and makes my period even worse , as it only temporarily helps to reduce the flow and then , the period actually gets prolonged and so does the pain , once the med is stopped! I know this is a pretty long story I am writing! but i have gone thru many of the other mails on this topic and I completely understand what its like to suffer this pain and how it affects your life.I had also taken medciation for postpartum depression and my psychiatrist was of the opinion that the periods will become more bearable once my mental health is restored to normal (prior to delivery)! Please help as I have a 2 yr old to look after in addition to coping with this every month.My husband is very supportive and I wouldnt have survuved this far without him! I am wondering if anyone has dealt with Adenomyosis and can help me get to the right doctor.I dont want to end up going from doc to doc , waititng for treatments to work ! I have suffered so much that I give up , and then once again pull myself together and go on ,once my periods are over. I know this is so long , but thnks for having the patience to read it!
