Has anyone on here had success with only ONE LAP??? HELP! :(

For God's sake this is scary. It seems as if everyone on here has had 2, 3, 4, or more lap surgeries with no or little success. I am 36 and just found a doctor who I trust and feel comfortable with doing a lap surgery. I have never had it before and now I am wondering if I should even bother or just continue to take painkillers the first 3 days of my period forever. Does anyone get ANY pain relief? Even if my pain was reduced by even 30% it would be a big help. This doctor told me that NO doctor can get all endo because there are simply too many nooks and crannys in there and surgical instruments cannot reach all of them. He said the success rate is only 50-60% at best. He is a specialist and endo surgery is all he does. He also said there is a risk of infection on my bowels if he has to remove endo from it. If it got infected, he said I could end up with a colostomy bag for 3 mos!!! Is the surgery worth it?? I don't know what to do now.
