Re: Anyone with breast issues associated with endometriosis?

2 new things I have tried that have really helped are bio-identical progesterone for periods and Bentyl, an anti-spazmotic for IBS. I have been on the progesterone now for 4 years and it cut down on my cramps (now I have 2 days instead of 4) it reduced my mood swings a lot and even the fibroid cysts in my breasts got smaller and some completely disappeared! Most conventional doctors think bio-identical hormones are BS, but it has been the only thing in 20 years that has significantly helped my period and endo symtoms! You will have to find a doctor who believes in this and will test your progesterone level. As for the Bentyl, I literally just took it for this period, and my cramps were waaaay better! I think half my pain was coming from my bowels and all the bloating! I only had slight bloating and did not have the usual severe pain like my guts were falling out. My doctor said Bentyl is very safe and the only side effect I've had is drowsiness. I think IBS and endometriosis go hand in hand and you have to treat them both. Good Luck!
