Good Morning Natalie, Angie & All May 16th Surgery Sisters :)
Add me to that list for that day too. :) I am having the laparotomy
with the specialty team to look at the colon/bowel, ureters, cervix
taken out and God knows what else can be "adhered" at this point. My
last surgery like this was 9 years ago so I am very grateful for the
time I had up until these past 18 months.
I can't think of one time I was never NOT scared. Now it's been even
harder because we have a 5 year old too that I see looking back at me
wanting Momma to come home. :(. Let's take this weekend to hold hands
spiritually and know that we are walking together. If there are any
other May 16th Surgery dates out there to join that would be so nice to
hear from you since we are in this together on this day and scared to
death.
I know we will all do just fine and we will pray for our surgeons to be
given the grace, ability and patience to rid our bodies of what may be
holding each of us back. When we all go through this weekend and we
think we are alone, let's enjoy this weekend to the fullest and start
our new week together in the prep department and then join together
again like spritual sisters on that day of surgery.
I look forward to getting back to my bed and checking the lap top to see
how each of you are doing. For those who have dates coming up before
and after may your surgeries go just as smoothly and provide you with
some lasting relief so you can enjoy even just a piece of your life
again with your friends and families. I will be thinking of you two and
anyone else who is going through this on this day :)
God Bless!
Thinking of you...
