Candace, I was prescribed Tylenol3 for my pain. I don't find that it helps with the pain...it just make my head foggy. That's not really an option when you have a four year old at home with you. I found that a really hot...almost too hot...bath sometimes helps. Maybe you could have your little one play beside the bathtub while you try to soak the pain away. I wish I had more for you but hopefully this will help :)
