Re: ally Worried! Blood in stool! Message for D

Hello,

I had my first period after a lap last week. It was really really bad. They told me it would be and I knew it would be, but it still surprised me. The pelvic pain was similar yet different to the kind I had before surgery. I think it is because all the tissues are still real sensitive and everything is more inflamed. Your surgery was so recent I am sure you have much healing to do on top of having your period so soon afterwards.

Of course keep your doctor informed with new problems.

I had blood in my stool afterwards as well but I also had bowel surgery so it was somewhat expected as the endo had grown all the way through the intestine. Hemorroids can cause a surprising amount of blood that can be quite scary.

Good Luck, Michelle
