Re: Help the crazy girl adnexal mass and endo...?From: M (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue May 1 15:38:06 2007
Hey Cari First there is nothing wrong with a good sense of humor and it is natural to be nervous about surgery even if you know what to expect. I don't think that there is anything that anyone can say that will make you 100 percent ready and comfortable. I am strong and funny at first then I tend to break down and cry. I had a laparatomy in JanA 07 to remove an 11cm endometromas and that ewas when I was diagnosed with endo. My doc didn't remove all the endo and I don't know why. Maybe she didn't know how to thoroughly or couldn't because of the ares. I was mad about abot this for awhile because even after surgery I had pain and now I have another mass growing again. I also can't take BCPs due to migranes andd family history. Sorry I don't have answers fotr you, but I have dealt & amdealing with similiar things. I wish you the best for your surgery. Try not to panic too much. Hopefully this is the first step to yrs of beiing pain free. Keep us posted.
