Re: Pelvic Congestion Fact or Fiction?From: ada (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Apr 30 19:30:30 2007
I have endo, adeno and pelvic congestion. My doctor explained (and showed me pictures of my uterus) that pelvic congestion is basically vericose veins somewhere in the pelvic region. Mine happen to be in my uterus (which you could clearly see in the pictures from my lap). He described my uterus as looking like a bag of worms because the veins are so bad. I have also decided to have a hysterectomy. I know it will not cure my endo but with the uterus gone I will not have to deal with the adeno or pelvic congestion. I will be keeping my ovaries. My surgery is not till the end of Aug though. I am waiting till after summer vacation for the kids. Good luck, hope this might have helped some. Ada
