Re: Pain using tampons?? 'Instead'?

It's a product tht is an alternative to tampons and pads. I can usually find them at Fred Meyers-Krogers or Walmart. Basially they are these round bowl looking things that you have to push up into place. they are designed to "catch" everything, not absorb. When inserted right, they do take on a bowl shape inside you and are really really great for not leaking. If inserted right you do not feel them and they can be worn for up to 12 hours and do not have the risk of TSS like tampons do. No string hanging down. When it's time to replace you have to insert your finger to grab it just under the rim and pull it out-can be kinda messy and gross so it's best to be sitting on the tiolet but for me, I love the "no string", I love how I've never leaked wearing one and I love that you can wear them for so long-you can even wear them during intercourse. Plus, if you know your going to be starting but havn't yet and are going to be somewhere not easy to get to a bathroom I think it would be safter to put in an instead rather than a tampon. And they were made by women. Hope I answered your questions!
