Hello Jen...well im fairly new to endo too...i was just diagnosed w/it about a week ago. My doctor and i already had suspected it was endo because of all of the symptoms, painful intercourse, painful cramping, painful bowls, etc. I cant give much of an advice, but that iv learned LOTS here. Dont stress out too much in regards to the lap. I had some pain, but was well controlled w/my pain meds that she prescribed. You'll read many sad stories and good ones too, so dont get scared! You will see that even though were strangers, we understand each other more than our own families, because WE know what we are going thru. Take Care and Best Wishes on ur surgery.
