Previous message: lora: "Re: Fever and stitch abscess?" I had laproscopic surgery also to remove a 6 cm cyst. I later found out that i had endometriosis. The doctor made 5 incisions in me( said i was a challenge), the one below my belly button is about 2-3 inch cut. Last week i had a foul smell and went to remove my bandages to take a shower and the big cut was covered in blood and it was all over my stomach. I went into the doctor and he took a q-tip and stuck it down in it pretty far. Said it was abscesses and gave me a antibiotic called levaquin. It has been a week already and still draining pretty good. Have to change the gauze pad around 6 to 7 times a day. I have no fever, which i didn't have a fever when this happened either. How long is this suppose to drain. Also...... two other incision straight across form my belly button have huge knots on them. About two inches in size. How long can it be before i can go back to work? I work in a hot place that requires a lot of physical work. I also feel sick to my stomach all the time. I called the doctor and he gave me a anti-nausea pills to help. any information anybody has will be a great help!!! Thanks Next message: D: "Re: Hi.."
