Re: New to EndoFrom: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Apr 29 12:32:53 2007
Hello, This doctor sounds more experienced than the previous. I do think the amount of endo removed depends on the expertise of the surgeon. I took Lupron and am not a fan like most of the people here. I also had the add-back therapy. I would not try this without. I didn't have stomache pain during this, which was a relief. I had headaches, severe hot flashes and I actually had short term memory problems (forgot to go to work!). See what other options are available. I now have an endo speicialist in town and he has been able to provide options to me. We make decisions together and I don't have to explain endo to him at all. I hope you get the answers you need. When I first started having problems I was very young (10) and my insurance was through the military. I know how hard it can be to get someone off base or to even get a referral, I wasn't diagnosed until I was 18 or 19! Good Luck, I hope you get some answers!
