Re: Natural vs synthetic PROGESTERONE

Well firstly I would say the absolute most important thing is for you to familiarize yourself with the work of the renowned hormonal specialist Dr John Lee. He advocated for years the use of Progesterone Cream. Progesterone and Progestins are NOT the same thing. Progesterone is a natural substance, with no known side effects, that mimic your body's own hormones. Progestin, on the other hand, is a man-made artificial substance with many side effects, which in no way resembles your body's hormones. You do not need a prescription for Progesterone cream, simply because as a natural product it cannot be patented, it can be freely sold over the counter, unlike manmade Progestins which are sold and patented by major drug companies and make millions every year. It has to be questioned as to whether this is the reason they are prescribed so freely instead of encouraging the use of Progesterone.

In any case, there is simply too much for me to go into here, but for any woman with Endo or PMS or gynae issues, I STRONGLY suggest reading the book: "Hormone Balance Made Simple" by Dr John Lee. It can be found on Amazon (link below). It's a small book with a huge amount of information and it absolutely changed my life and the way I approach this disease. After some very bad experiences with manmade artificial hormones, I went in search of an answer, and I swear this is it! PLEASE read it!
