New to Endo

I am 24 years old and have been trying to convince Army doctors for four years that I need a lap to treat endo. The symptoms have greatly increased in the last year, but another doctor wanted to evaluate me for a long period before "jumping" into the lap. This doctor told me that my uterus is now extremely tilted. This has not always been the case. I finally got transfered to a doctor off base on Friday and am having the lap on 15 May. He said that not only is my uterus tilted, but it is completely fixed now (probably due to the endo). He said that it is probably stage 4 and mostly in the cul-de-sac. He said that he will try to get as much as he can but then put me on 3-6 months of lupron and add-back therapy. I have been researching lupron and am not that thrilled. Can any one give me any advice or personal experience? Thanks!
