Re: Dr. Daiter/Ladies..What is going on?From: Eric Daiter, MD (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Apr 28 16:15:04 2007
You need a pregnancy test, if not already completed. Ectopic pregnancy can cause those signs and symptoms and the danger associated with this condition is significant. Endometriosis can cause a wide variety of pains, and as a response to the pain you might have what is called a "vaso vagal" reaction in which you get hot and then chills, dizzy or faint, and clammy hands (etc). A panic attack can also present with some of these signs. If this persists you should see you doctor to discuss your body's response to the pain. You could see your RE to discuss the possibility of endometriosis and treatments that are reasonable based on your exam and complete history Good Luck!
