Re: Lap done today and NOT GIVEN ANY PAIN MEDS

I'm so sorry your going through so much! I can not believe that he wouldn't give you anything-it's surgery! I was in lots of pain after my lap and I would have had to go to the ER if I hadn't been given anything. Some women say they can manage and do but everyone is different and it also has a lot to do with what was done. You should be given something for just a diagnostic, let alone if you had endo removed. Do you have a general Dr.? If so, if you called him and explained that you just had surgery and were not given meds could he maybe call in a script for you? If not I would call the office of who did the surgery-it may be a long shot but you shouldn't have to suffer. I hate the attitudes of some dr.'s when it comes to pain meds.
