I don't know if you saw an endo specialist, but I also have stage 4 endo and had a frozen pelvis. I just had surgery wednesday and they were able to seperate everything and think that I have a good chance of concieving on my own. I also had a cyst removed off of each ovary. If I were you I would see someone that regularly treats difficcult endo cases, my first surgeon (the one that diagnosed me) didn't feel comfortable doing anything either. I was treated by Dr. Camran Nezhat at Stanford and he was able to treat me laparoscopically and get everything cleaned up and put back into normal position.
