Re: Dr. Redwine's apprentice, Dr. Mos-The greatest doctors!!From: Kim (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Apr 27 15:43:24 2007
Hello all- I just wanted to briefly post..I have just returned home from having surgery with Dr. Redwine and Dr. Mosbrucker. I will post more about my journey later, as I am still recovering for surgery. I wanted to let you all know that Dr. Redwine and Dr. Mosbrucker are the most COMPASSIONATE, DEDICATED, EXPERIENCED, PROFESSIONAL and GREAT SPIRITED doctors I have ever seen! Even in saying this, it does not do them justice! I mean that from the bottom of my heart and soul. I truly feel now, that I could have saved myself so much suffering if I would have seen them sooner. My surgery with them was my 3rd. The pain I feel now, is mainly post surgical..The constant burning, gnawing, deep readiating pain I had is no longer there. My surgery was over 7 hours and ended up having a bowel resection..Dr. Mosbrucker is a terrific person and surgeon. I was getting discouraged because I needed to stay in the hospital a few days more than planned..and had a few post surgical complications ( not endo but pneumonia..) She gave me some great words of encouragement and a womderful pep talk to help me make it through...She was not only my miracle surgeon, but a coach in a way..She sat in my hospital room answereing my fiances questions for close to an hour...no question went unanswered..I owe my life to her and to Dr. Redwine.. As for Dr. Redwine, he is a wonderful man who knows his stuff..and very kind In my first meeting him, I could feel that I was in the GREATEST of hands. I had utter confidence. After the surgery, I had the pneumonia complication. My fever had gotten very high and I was very, very scared. Dr. Redwine came out to the hospital at 11pm at night...he even held me hand when I told him how scared I was..As I lay there frightened, so far from home, awaiting my x-rays..Dr. Redwine offered me so much compassion and care just in holding my hand. I have not encountered ANY doctors like this..I am tearing up as I write this because I am blessed. BLESSED to have been under there care.. I will write more. I would be happy to share my experience if you want to email me kstevens72@comcast.net. I am on my way to recovery...I look forward to a life free of endo pain! I cannot thank Dr. Redwine and Dr. Mosbrucker enough...I mean truly, how do you thank someone who has given you back your life????? I am amazed as I sit here and no londer feel that pain...the tearing... Thank you ...Please know there is hope out there. I agree with Dr. Redwine and Dr Mosbrucker...that surgery ( with am endo specialist ) is the only wat to get rid of endo..
