I have endo flare ups in April/May. When I wasn't on depo, or lupron, the fall is when I would get endometriomas and my endo pain was at it's worst. My doc just said it's a seasonal thing for me. He did however bring up how interstitial cystitis and endo can have similiar symptoms. I was tested by cystocopy for IC, but told it was neg. My doc said this test is not 100% accurate, you can still have IC even if it isn't provem by cystoscopy. My urologist disagrees. Many women with endo also have IC. If you google IC , you will find many women complain that their IC is worse during allergy season. That made me think a little, is it really the endo or is it IC? Or is it that for some, the season has an effect on IC and endo? Maybe someone can offer some input here?
