You don't sound crazy at all to me - endo that isn't removed can cause
problems even after the uterus and/or ovaries are gone. It's actually a
good thing that your gastro is aware of this - most are not, and their
support may help you get to a specialist faster!
You should find a good endo specialist who has dealt with
post-hysterectomy endo because the surgery can be more complicated
thanks to adhesions and scar tissue. Also, most obgyns aren't going to
be comfortable removing endo from the bowels - make sure your doctor can
deal with that. There's a link at the bottom of this meassage to the
