Did you have a laparoscopy? Pain predominantly with your periods is often endometriosis. It may also be related to adhesions, but these don't usually cause pain just around the flow.

>From what I understand from what you have written, a laparoscopy may be
able to identify and treat the cause of the pain. You should research your local REs and find one that does this sort of surgery regularly and has a good reputation for success.
