That makes more sense then:) Depending on what they gave you the bowel prep usually doesn't taste too good, but they probably just want to have your bowels clean as a precaution. They just don't want the stuff that is usually in your bowels to be in there during surgery because if for some reason it gets out it can cause irritation to the inside of your pelvic cavity. I hope that helps and doesn't make you more worried. When you do the bowel prep just be sure you are near a toilet for awhile:)
