I am a medical assistant as well as an endo sufferer, my experience with surgery in general (I have had quite a few, including lap with endo and adhesions removed)is that most general anthesia surgeries in the pelvic or abdominal area require that pt to have a catheter put in during the procedure which is taken about before you wake up but you can notice a little blood for the first day or two, as well as mild irritation with urination
