Pain...From: M (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Mar 31 18:37:30 2007
Hi everyone, I had a laparatomy in Jan of 07. A couple of weeks ago I had posted a question about pain in the upper and lower back, shoulder,, arm and leg(primarily on my lft side). Well a week ago Mon I went to the ER because I was having intense pain in my upper bk, left shoulder & arm and tingling a little in my fingers. To make a long story short the ER doc said it was carpal tunnel and maybe a pinched nerve/herniated disc. If it continued I should see my doctor. The thing is that carpal tunnel doesn't explain all the pain(esp in my leg). Could they have hit a nerve in surgery? Do you think it is carpal tunnel? I have the pain in my left shoulder and arm. I have a hard time holding things long. None of this happened before surgery. Any suggestions? Thanks! Mel
