Hello Candi....Well i finally had my consultation on Wednesday, and my obgyn decided to go for the Lap first. She said that she didnt want to start me on any hormones because we first need to know if i have it or not and besides the birth control hasnt worked (ive been on it for one year). So i was very pleased that finally someone, was on the same track as me. So, we have to wait for my insurance authorization and if its authorized on time, il be getting the lap done at the end of April, since it has to be done after your menstrual cycle. Then she talked about the different treatments, of course including Lupron. I am just afraid of taking Lupron ive read so many bad stories about it!! Well i will keep everyone posted on what goes on in the next weeks. But thank god, my doctor prescribes me darvocet, which does help, of course only numbs if for a while, but im glad my doctor does understand how painful this disease can be!! I hope your doctor understands that you FIRST needs to do the lap, that way you both are 100% sure of what it is you have. I wish the best of luck! Keep in touch....
