Previous message: anonymous@obgyn.net: "dr. alan johns in fort worth" I don't know why I broke through. I am on continuous Loestrin and take prometrium days 12-21 of the pill pack. I had cramps and some pain all week. Not nearly as bad as it was before the surgery. But enough to be uncomfortable with motrin. Before it was bad enough to be doubled over and unable to move. I havn't had any bleeding in almost 5 months. I wasn't on anything lately that could cause breakthrough. Uggggh. Dr said not to bleed and take prometrium immediately to stop it if I did. It was time for the prometrium anyway. The good news is that Motrin actually helps now. I did take a darvocet last night. Only one. It actually helped. So much better than before surgery. Just hope the bleeding stops soon. It did lighten up from yesterday. I passed a three inch clot first thing and then several little dime sized clots later on. I thought when you were on a continuous pill that the lining doesn't build. If that is so where did that big old clot come from? Is it possibly a left over from surgery from 6 months ago???
