Saw my new OB....diagnosed with IBS...anyone else have it??? I NEED ADVICE, please!From: Kelly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Mar 29 09:13:50 2007
Hey everyone. I just got back from seeing my new OB. After talking to him about my pain, symptoms, etc...I had a pelvic exam. After spending a long time with me, and seeing all the tests I've been through I now know I have IBS to compliment my endo. I am so glad my sister went with me, I don't remember half of what he said. He definitely thinks my pelvic pain is from the IBS, not the endo, because I'm on Lupron. I didn't even talk about the pain I'm having, I was so nervous and uneasy. He was really nice and took a lot of time with me. I now have to go back to my PCP or GI doc to see what to do about this. In the mean time, I'm still dealing with this pain, half of it from the Lupron. What do I do until this crap gets out of my system? How do I go about asking for help with my pain? I did not want to bring it up in the room because I was too nervous about being seen as a drug-seeker. Should I call his office back and ask? I'm so confused and don't know what to do. HELP!
